Dr. Naomi S. Sever
Dentist
Dr. Naomi Sever grew up in a small town, Ashland, located in Southern Oregon. From there she crossed the country and attended Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts for her undergraduate education in Biology and Women’s Studies. She explored a career in pharmaceutical and then dental supply sales prior to returning to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Since her dental school graduation in 2011 Dr. Naomi has made continuing education and volunteer work a priority. She has done a fellowship in implant placement and restoration, education on sleep apnea and associated airway disorders, Botox and fillers, and continually stays up to date on the newest and most effective products and technologies. She recently became a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2017, which requires over 500 hours of continuing education in a variety of subjects. In addition to her love of learning, she feels it is important to give back to underserved populations and spent her first years after dental school at a community health clinic in rural Kansas. After the move to private practice she still participates with volunteer events such as Colorado Mission of Mercy, which is where she met Drs. Bishop and Takemoto.
For the past four years Dr. Naomi was in private practice as an associate dentist in Colorado Springs and she takes great pride in the relationships she developed with her patients in that time. She is thrilled to be a practice owner and for the opportunity to continue quality dental treatment and compassionate patient care. She strives to continue the office tradition of quality dentistry in a caring, sharing environment ensuring growth for all involved.
Dr. Naomi lives in Boulder and, like a lot of people here, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking with her dog, and doing the occasional Ironman triathlon. She also loves travel, cooking, and other adventures.
